Our Story

## Built for chefs.

**Sous was built around a simple shift in the culinary world:**  
chefs shouldn't be limited to one way of doing business. A chef might host a private dinner one night, cater an event the next, prepare meals for a dozen families, or teach a cooking class the following week. But today's platforms and tools are built around rigid business models, forcing chefs to adapt their business to the software rather than the software adapting to the chef.

**We are focused on one idea:**  
give culinary entrepreneurs the technology, flexibility and infrastructure to build businesses on their own terms. What began as a way to manage the work behind a personal chef is growing into a broader operating system designed to flex with the way culinary entrepreneurs work, from private dinners and catered events to meal prep, cooking classes, pop-up experiences and whatever comes next.

Sous continues to evolve and grow alongside the chefs it serves, with a focus on building the infrastructure for chefs to be independent and stay independent.
